Shank adaptor is used for transmitting power between drill machine and drill stems. It plays an important role in transmitting power from rock drill to the drill stems.
In rock drilling, top hammer shank adapter is crucial as they directly bear the impact energy and torque of the rock drill. It's used to transfer energy from the drill rig to the drill rod. One end of the shank adaptor is connected to the drill rig, while the other end is connected to the drill rod. Shank adapter is used for transmitting power from the rock drill to the drill stems, as well as rotation torque, into the drill string without energy losses.
